Since 2003 tea students and tea instructors of the Urasenke School of Tea meet every year in West Cork as a small group to practice the many different procedures of preparing tea (Temae) and to deepen the understanding of Chanoyu. They hold formal tea gatherings which include the laying of charcoal and also a meal, Kaiseki.
